Mr Abbasi, founder of MKA Legal Consultants, specializes in Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Corporate, Banking, Arbitration, Commercial, Family, Anti-dumping, Revenue, Services, Tax, Labour and Human Rights Cases. He started his career in 1992, after his law graduation and was enrolled as an advocate of the High Courts in 1995. Mr. Abbasi was appointed as Assistant Advocate General Punjab in 2005 and represented the Government of Punjab in both the Lahore High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, during his time as a law officer he conducted a large number of cases, over fifty of which were reported in the leading law journals of the country. He later served as a Judge of the Honorable Lahore High Court where he authored 2709 Judgments, of which twenty were then approved for reporting. Having been an Advocate of the Supreme Court for the past 11 years Mr. Abbasi is now widely recognized as one of the most competent and respected Advocates being highly skilled and experienced in a wide area of practices.
Mr. Abbasi is also a staunch supporter for the development of the bar and the legal culture and profession as a whole. He has directly contributed towards this end in a number of ways, as an active participant in bar politics and having served as the Secretary of the Rawalpindi Bar Association (2001-2002). Mr. Abbasi has also been in the role of an academic having taught as a visiting lecturer at Rawalpindi Law College.
